Whether you’re hosting your own cocktail party or bringing a dish to a potluck, these bacon wrapped stuffed dates are a delicious and easy recipe that guests will go crazy for. We’ve been at parties where people have argued over who gets the last one (true story). Dates are naturally sweet, so when stuffed with cheese and then wrapped in bacon, you’re getting a balance of sweet, salty, and savory—making them the perfect holiday bite!

Dates (do yourself a favor and get them pre-pitted, I like Medjool if you can get them)
cream cheese (in bar form)
roasted almonds
bacon (cut each strip in half)
toothpicks
rosemary (for garnish)

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Cut the date open (on one side only) and place an appropriately sized piece of cream cheese inside. Put an almond inside too. Close the date as best you can.

Wrap the stuffed date in a piece of bacon and secure with a toothpick.

Repeat until you have enough for all your guests.

Bake in the oven for 5 to 6 minutes on each side (top and bottom). Watch them closely, you want the bacon to be crispy on all sides so cook time will depend on your oven. Use tongs to flip them.

Let them cool for a few minutes on a paper towel and serve.

Don’t worry about making them ahead of time, they taste great at room temperature. Just make sure you make enough for everyone, it’s a real crowd pleaser. Enjoy!
