Adding Color To My Summer Wardrobe

My toddler is a big fan of color. She loves pink and purple, and anything rainbow. We recently had our first Pride weekend in town a few weeks ago, and she didn’t understand why I didn’t have anything colorful to wear. It made me realize that my wardrobe was very neutral, maybe a little too much. I think in my attempt to make my closet versatile, I stripped it of almost anything bright and colorful.

In an effort to add some color to my summer wardrobe, I picked two pieces from Sézane, and I didn’t realize they would be such a mood booster. I wear this dress ALL the time. Not only is it so incredibly comfortable, but I love the pastel floral print, which feels a little nostalgic for my 90s wardrobe. As for the shorts, you won’t hear me say color isn’t versatile again. These are so fun to wear with a basic tank, linen button down, navy blue t-shirt, or a cotton sweater for cooler weather. We recently went on a getaway to Portsmouth, NH, and I didn’t need much else to wear. It was really hot and these pieces kept me cool and comfortable the whole trip. And my toddler was a big fan.

Love your content. Have been following you since the Prosecco days but I have to say the pop up videos are becoming Emily Henderson style. Had to stop following her because the video ads had taken over her content. I get this is your living but there has to be a better way. Can only take a couple minutes of having constant popups before I have to leave.

Loved your dress, the sleeveless print one in New Hampshire . Of course it’s boiling hot here in Florida and I just got a surprise gift in the mail and immediately thought of this dress. The bag yes too. I am now a low weight of 108 lbs and checked my measurements at 5’4 but I’m 35 C on top and a 28 waist and 37 hips . I’m thinking S but between S and medium. I’m just afraid the top will be too big. It’s a great dress and I’d guess you are probably in an extra small . I think I’d need a strapless bra ? Anyway, only have bought Sexanr sweaters in small and have no idea which size to order for a treat during a tough patch. It looks adorable on you
