What’s better than a clean beauty product? A clean beauty product that works. All of these brands are great in general, but these five products have been standouts. Here’s why I’m loving them right now.
Manuka Honey Cleansing Balm
At this point it’s likely you’ve heard me talk about Naturopathica’s Manuka Honey Cleansing Balm. I decided to test it out a few weeks ago when my skin was freaking out. I couldn’t believe how quickly it literally healed my skin. With one use my skin looked and felt better and after a few days my skin looked amazing. I haven’t used anything else as a cleanser since.
Indie Lee Stem Cell Serum
I must confess this sat on my shelf forever and I didn’t try it until recently because I was overwhelmed by all the products I had everywhere. Then I did my skincare and beauty product organization and declutter a few weeks ago and noticed I had only used this serum once or twice. I started using it everything morning after toner then C E Ferulic, and before moisturizer and I love it. It feels incredibly lightweight on the skin (a little goes a long way) yet is super hydrating. The serum has echinacea stem cells which improve skin firmness and texture, and hyaluronic acid which is amazing for hydration. I’ve been using this for almost two weeks so I am excited to see results after a month.
Olio E Osso Hand Cream
I absolutely love the balms from Olio e Osso and use several in my everyday make-up routine, this oil is also amazing in the summer time. So I wanted to try their hand cream and I was not disappointed. It’s super rich and creamy but absorbs well into skin so you’re not stuck with that greasy hand situation. I keep it on my nightstand and slather it on before bed. I also love that it’s a Portland based brand where everything is handmade in small batches.
Ursa Major Shampoo
I have been on the hunt for a good clean shampoo. I like this one but my hair is so short now and it’s thick, but fine and straight, so I need something lightweight. This everyday shampoo from Ursa Major is just perfect. It smells like a walk in the woods, has a nice lather and gets my hair feeling clean without drying it out.
Playa Endless Summer Spray
Another one of my beauty clean-out discoveries, I’ve had this spray since last summer but sort of forgot about it because it was hidden by the bajillion products in my bathroom. I spray this in damp hair and let it air dry (usually overnight) then spray more at the root in the morning. It gives nice volume and subtle texture even for my fine hair.
I love Indie Lee products! I’m obsess with their squalene facial oil. Definitely going to try their stem cell serum!
