It’s time my friends. Coat weather is upon us and while I had a taste of it in Finland, our jacket free days here are numbered. Fear not, I’ve rounded up my favorite coats and jackets for winter and there’s plenty of warm and stylish options to go around. I’m super excited about this ReNew Puffer from Everlane made up of recycled plastic bottles and other recycled materials. It was super warm on our walk the other day, waiting to put it to the true test when we start to get consistent freezing temps next week.
Everlane ReNew Short Puffer
How about a coat to keep you warm that’s also environmentally friendly? Made from 47 renewed plastic bottles, 100% recycled fabric and filled with 100% recycled insulation. I have this in xs.
Mango Quilted Jacket
I love this take on the season’s plaid trend. Stay extra cozy in this wool blend fabric and it comes with a detachable hood.
Velvet Sherpa Coat
A reversible faux shearling that’s cozy and perfect for layering. Soft suede on the reverse, super cute with raw hem jeans and booties. It reminds me of this similar version I have from last year.
I.AM.GIA Faux Shearling Jacket
A slightly oversized and casual version of this season’s shearling jacket trend. Throw it on with jeans and sneakers for weekend adventures. I love the big pockets for keeping your hands warm.
& Other Stories Camel Wool Coat
Beautiful lapels, slightly a-line fit and belted closure, this is a super chic (and affordable) classic camel coat.
J.Crew Belted Puffer Coat
I love the belt on this puffer coat to give it shape and the gold button details that make it feel stylish for more than just that early morning dog walk.
AETHER Chelsea Jacket
Very excited to rock this super stylish and cozy wool blend, goose down puffer this winter. Just the right length and it comes with a lifetime guarantee. I have this in xs.
Patagonia Nano Puff Jacket
One of the best purchases I made this year (I have this in small). I never travel without this jacket. It’s shockingly warm for how lightweight and thing it is. Great for wearing alone or layering under another coat that might need some extra warmth.
L.L. Bean Fleece Jacket
Another soft and cozy favorite. I reach for this often for dog walks and hikes. Super warm and a great price point. It comes in a bunch of great colors. I have this in xs.
Sezane James Coat
This wool blend plaid menswear inspired coat is what Parisian wardrobe dreams are made of. It has a slightly boxier fit and looks great dressed up or down. See how I wore it here. I have size 2.
Mango Plaid Blazer
Not quite outerwear for those of us in the Northeast or other cold winter climates but a great layering piece for the season.
