I tend to shy away from bold colors, particularly red, but something about this deep almost burgundy shade just had my name written all over it. The wrap waist and midi length make it ultra flattering and the color is perfect for transitioning into fall (why does it feel like a 4 letter word when I say that right now?). Don’t get me wrong I love the fall but #longlivesummer. In all seriousness though this dress will be great with ankle boots and a blazer or moto jacket. For this season’s hot weather it’s light and breezy and gorgeous with a delicate heel. I kept the rest of the look really simple, a great option for a weekend brunch or work meeting. I have this tote in white (wore it in Dallas here) and it’s great in black as we move into fall. Also picked up this ruffle off the shoulder top in red which I’ll be wearing with distressed denim and heels this weekend. Couldn’t resist this matching set of navy trousers and silky tee, together they have a very Parisian feel.
