50 Bathing Suits for Every Budget

I have two thoughts on swimwear, the first is that life is better in a bathing suit, and the second is that one can never have too many. Yes, the summer season is only a few months in New England, but I think because of that I take full advantage. Last year I challenged myself to swim every single day from Memorial Day to Labor Day (I almost made it, I may have missed a few). So without further ado, here’s a round-up of 5o  bathing suits for EVERY budget, and I threw in some tunics and beach essentials too!

Keep it simple in a classic white bikini. Bonus, they compliment a tan very nicely.

Ultra flattering and so classic, the solid one piece is a staple no matter what. I tend to reach for black or white but if color is you’re thing a pretty pastel or coral is nice too (pictured below is Vitamin A). You can find the straw hat here.

While I love a one piece I used to be the master of the mix and match bikini. I would make a point of never wearing a matching top and bottom. What I love about this, you can get even more wear out of a few different bathing suits by combing them in different ways.

This one piece got a lot of compliments when I was in the Bahamas. It’s super flattering and really comfortable. One piece bathing suits are typically my go-to so printed ones that are comfy equals a win, win in my book (pictured below is PilyQ).

For the T. Swift fans, the retro bathing suit. High waisted bottoms and retro cuts have been making quite a comeback. I love the skirted bottoms, gingham prints and high waist cuts (pictured below is this top and bottom).

No beach day is complete without a cover up. A few of my favorite brands include CoolChange, LemLem, (pictured below is L*Space – also seen here and CoolChange) .

May I ask what size you are wearing in the white Vitamin A one piece? I love it and think I might be a similar size. Thanks!

  7. […]  Last Saturday we had the most perfect beach morning. We got up early to catch it before the wind picked up and it was dead calm, sunny and warm, and not a person in sight. If only we could have a few more of those days! I really like the easiness of a white cover up for this season. This one is still one of my favorites, and this lace swim cover up from Talbots is great because it can definitely be worn beyond the beach. I’d style it with white jeans or shorts for post beach day drinks or dinner. If the see through lace is too much you can always layer a camisole or tank underneath.
